We are a student run society from Cambridge University Clinical School. We strive to encourage an interest in neurology and neuroscience, by increasing opportunities for students to get involved and enthused about this fast moving field.
Final year medical student and this years president, with a particularly interest in neurosurgery! Hopes to make the society more interactive this year, and is particularly looking forward to the symposium.
Hi! My name is Katherine, I am in my 2nd year of the Cambridge Graduate Course for Medicine at Hughes Hall and I am this year’s CNSoc Vice-President. I have been interested in all things Neuro-related for a while! I previously read Natural Sciences at Jesus for my undergraduate degree specialising in Neuroscience. I went on to do a Masters in Research at UCL working with the Parkinson’s disease team and recently presented a poster at the Parkinson’s UK conference. I hope to share my enthusiasm for Neuroscience/Neurology with you all through our events and our Annual Symposium!
My name’s Amedra and I am the Treasurer for Cambridge Neurological Society 2017-2018. I am a sixth year medical student at the University of Cambridge and am aspiring to be a Neurologist in the future. I also have interests in the research field of Neuroscience, specifically having done my BA in a computational project looking at light adaptation in the rods and cones of the eye.
My name is Christina and I am this year’s Annual Neurology Conference organiser. I am a first year medical student in the graduate entry course at Hughes Hall. I have always had a great interest in Neurology, which is the specialty I wish to follow as a doctor. During my BSc in Neuroscience, I had co-organised many neuroscientific conferences and talks, and I hope this year’s event will also be a great success!
